Privacy Policy

The short version: First Hour does not collect your data. There is no account, no sign-in, and no analytics. Everything the app knows about you stays on your device.

What we collect

Nothing that leaves your device. First Hour has no user accounts and no servers that store your information. Your alarms, protection windows, streak history, settings, and the set of apps you choose to block are stored locally on your iPhone (and, if you enable iCloud, in your own private iCloud account, which we cannot access).

Screen Time & the apps you block

First Hour uses Apple's Family Controls / Screen Time framework to shield the apps you personally select during your protected morning window. Your selection is represented by opaque tokens provided by iOS. First Hour cannot see the names or identities of the specific apps you choose, and this information never leaves your device or gets transmitted to us or anyone else.

Purchases

Subscriptions (First Hour Pro) are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. First Hour never receives or stores your payment details. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Analytics, tracking & third parties

There are none. First Hour contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no third-party trackers, and does not use the Advertising Identifier. We do not sell, share, or transfer any personal data, because we don't collect any.

Children

First Hour is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
