Metryx Terms Of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Metryx. By using the app, you agree to these Terms.

Wellness Only

Metryx provides wellness-focused food logging, hydration, training, sleep, medication-context reminders, and body-composition coaching. Metryx is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, medication dosing, medication adjustment, or titration recommendations.

Always consult a qualified clinician for medical decisions, medication questions, side effects, symptoms, lab interpretation, or changes to diet or training that may affect your health.

Nutrition Data And Scores Are Estimates

Food search, barcode scanning, nutrition labels, macro and micronutrient totals, Diet Quality, MES, and other nutrition scores are estimates based on user-entered data, product labels, and third-party food databases. Values can be incomplete, outdated, incorrectly entered, or missing micronutrients.

Verify packaged-food labels and use clinician or dietitian guidance for medical nutrition decisions. Metryx scores are educational wellness signals, not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a prescription for what to eat.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Metryx. If you use Metryx for health, fitness, or medication-context tracking, you are responsible for deciding whether the app is appropriate for your situation with support from a clinician where needed.

Beta Status And Subscriptions

Metryx may be offered as a beta. Features can change, be incomplete, or be removed.

Premium features may be offered through auto-renewable subscriptions processed by Apple. New subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial when eligible. After the trial, the selected subscription renews automatically at the price shown before purchase unless canceled in App Store settings before renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.

Accounts And Sync

You may use the app signed out with local device storage. If you create an account, Supabase Auth is used for authentication and Metryx can sync your app state across devices.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You can delete your account in More -> Account & Sync or More -> Privacy.

User Data

You retain responsibility for the information you enter into Metryx. You represent that you have the right to enter, store, and sync that information.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Metryx, attempt to access another user's data, reverse engineer the service except as allowed by law, interfere with app security, or use the app for unlawful activity.

No Warranty

Metryx is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for clinical, emergency, or medical use.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Metryx and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, health outcomes, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the app changes. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
